I've downloaded the HTML maker, but when I select a range of cells to convert, I get "Error:76" a couple of times, and then "Error:52" about 20 times. And then nothing happens. Any idea what's going on?

Hmm. That's a new one on me.

-What version of Excel are you using? Operating system?
-Do the errors say anything other than "Error" and the number?

I'm not sure if any of the following would have anything to do to it, but it can't hurt to know:

-What range of cells did you have selected?
-Is there anything in those cells other than text, formulas, hyperlinks, borders or background colors?

Hi,

OfficeXP, WindowsXP

I thought of the formatting thing, so I copied the values only into a blank book and tried to convert from there. The range was A1:C19.

And no, that was all the error said, was it's number. No other explanation.

Odd, huh?

Guess what? Having in the meantime gone on to download and install some other stuff (the MOREFUNC group of functions), I had to close Excel and reopen it...and now the HTML maker works fine.

Why do I always forget the first rule of computer problems...restart the application!!!

I apologize profusely, Kristy, for wasting your time and that of anyone else who might be working on this.

Erich

 No problem.

That is an error I haven't seen anyone ask about, though. I'll have to remember to that :)
