Error with posting

I am getting a token error when trying to post a NEW THREAD, what could be wrong
I am getting this error when posting the excel questions

Your submission could not be processed because the token has expired.

Please push the back button and reload the previous window.

It is possible that you may have a corrupt cookie on your computer. Try deleting your cookies, cache, and temporary internet files and try again.

I am a little confused, because you were obviously able to post a new thread (as you started this one).

Can you explain the steps exactly that causes this error?
Which forum are you trying to post to?
What are you typing in the title row?
etc...

question forums
excel questions
new thread
put in a subject

enter problem
submit new thread

get vbulletin error

"your submission could not be processed because the token has expired"

"please push the back button and reload the previous window"

worked this time any ideas as to whats going on

I would expect that it is probably something with your computer. I say that because if it was something with this site, I would expect to see a lot of complaints like this, with all the traffic and activity we get here.

If you Google the error message, you will see a whole myriad of things that could cause this on your computer such as:
- corrupt cookies
- Internet Browser issues
- interference from Add-Ons

These are just a few that I found in five minutes of searching. There appear to be other possibilities as well.

Also, check the computer's system clock you're using. I've seen poor settings really mess up Internet certificates. Make sure the date is current.
