Hello all.
I have Office 2000 and am always trying to copy tables created/modified in Excel and paste them into Access as new tables.
When I select the "PASTE" option in Access, I get past the window that asks "Does the first row of your data contain column headings?"
And always get confronted with this:
"The MS Jet Engine could not find the object SheetName$R1C1:RxxC2.
Make sure the object exists and that you spell its name and the path name correctly."
The cells it identifies are similar to the boundaries of whatever table I'm trying to copy.
I've tried updating the MS Jet Engine to a different version, but I still get the same error.
Can anyone help in identifying the culprit?
Thanks.
David J
