I hope there is just some sort of checked box somewhere that I am missing, but I can't insert anything (picture, charts, text box, developer items, all greyed out), and none of the charts are visible in my workbook anymore. I closed and re-opened it, nothing. Idears?

Excel Facts

Links? Where??
If Excel says you have links but you can't find them, go to Formulas, Name Manager. Look for old links to dead workbooks & delete.
No sir, they aren't. Its my workbook too. My thought is that I am using live connections to an Oracle and custom in-house ISQL database that may be doing something, I don't know though.

Have you turned off the display of objects? It's in the options somewhere (not in front of a 2007 machine just now)
