Hi

I have created a pivot step and I am getting this error

I have tried all afternoon to sort it. I dont know if this is a potential issue, but it is previewing only 200 rows, not the full data set.

Any help will be appreciated.

Do you have null values in the field you are trying to pivot on?

Not that I can see. The scenarios is that I am accessing a folder of Excel files. I have checked actual files and they all have a value in the two fields that I am pivoting on, the two values are a subtotal and a PO number.

You could try adding a step to replace nulls in that column with say "blank" and if that fixes the error, you know that was the issue.

I have used the Replace Value and Replace Error steps and I still have the issue.

Have you narrowed it down to one (or more) specific files?

It fails on certain files that I have identified as I have removed the files from the refresh, it continues. I have checked the "problem" files and they seem the same as all therest

Can you post a file somewhere (eg OneDrive) for us to look at?

Due to confidentiality, I am unable to upload any data. But I have managed a work around using the pdf files that have been generated, alongside the excel files
