I am using Excel 2019 which I just download from Microsoft.
I deleted the old Microsoft office which had word and excel because I was getting an error message.
I am trying to enter stock symbols in column A and in column
B I have the following =xlqprice(A3, "yahoo").
I have used this formula for a number of years so I know it works.
The error message I started receiving several days ago is the
following #NAME ?. I do not have any idea why this started happening. Any help with this problem.
Thanks Max

Excel Facts

Copy formula down without changing references
If you have =SUM(F2:F49) in F50; type Alt+' in F51 to copy =SUM(F2:F49) to F51, leaving the formula in edit mode. Change SUM to COUNT.
That error suggests that VBA doesn't recognize the UDF named xlqprice. I'm guessing xlqprice is part of an add-in you used in the past. When Excel shuts down it hard codes the location of the add-in and looks there for it when Excel is opened again. You may need to restore the link to the add-in now that you have moved to Excel 2019. I'm still using Excel 2010 so not sure how to tell you to do that. In xl2010 it would be File>Options>Add-Ins and Mange Add-Ins, then Browse to the location of the add-in and add it to the available Add-Ins and check the box with it.

Hi guys. I fould the problem. I do not know how this happened but since I downloaded Office which
has word and excel I found out the Excel is now 64 bita. xlq was 32 bits. I uninstalled the xlq and
reinstalled xlq as a 64 bit.Now all is correct and working. Thanks for all the post.
