Error in

I keep getting the unspecific The formula you typed contains an error in Excel 2010 when I edit a cube formula.

I have =CUBEVALUE("PowerPivot Data",$A8,CUBEMEMBER("PowerPivot Data",{"[cInputDate].[Year].&[2014]","[cInputDate].[Month Abrev].&[Dec]"}))

I want to change the Month reference to a cell address.

I changed the formula to =CUBEVALUE("PowerPivot Data",$A8,CUBEMEMBER("PowerPivot Data",{"[cInputDate].[Year].&[2014]","[cInputDate].[Month Abrev].&["&A1&"]"}))

You can put formulas into an array constant. Try using a cell for the whole text instead - see this previous thread for info: http://www.mrexcel.com/forum/excel-questions/713197-cell-reference-cubemember-function.html
