Hi!

I've created a blot of box and whiskers for 3 separate x-axis categories. I've followed instructions posted by Peltier here: Excel Box and Whisker Diagrams (Box Plots) - Peltier Tech Blog. Everything works fine until I go to great the "upper" error bar

Chart Tools > Layout > Error Bars > Direction: Plus, End Style: Cap > Custom: Specify Value > Negative Error Value: *SELECT ALL AND DELETE default ={1} and select range for (Max - Q3) values* - This is driving me batty - please help!

Excel Facts

Add Bullets to Range
Select range. Press Ctrl+1. On Number tab, choose Custom. Type Alt+7 then space then @ sign (using 7 on numeric keypad)
Negative Error Value must be cleared, and Positive Error Value must contain the range with the error bar values.
