PowerPivot 2012
Oracle 11.2.0.3

I added a new column to an Oracle table and I need to add this column to my Powerpivot.

Steps:
1) click the "Table Properties" button
2) I enter the Oracle database user and password.
3) Select the new column.
4) Click the Save button.

This error is displayed:

"Errors in the high-level relational engine. The following exception ocurred while the managed IDbConnection interface was being used: ORA-01005: null password given; logon denied."

Any clue?

Excel Facts

Round to nearest half hour?
Use =MROUND(A2,"0:30") to round to nearest half hour. Use =CEILING(A2,"0:30") to round to next half hour.
Never mind. I found the solution:

1) Click "Existing Connections" button
2) Click Edit in my powerpivot data connection.
3) Input the password.
4) Select the "Save my password" check box.
5) Click the "Save" button.

Now I can add the new column.

After that I reversed the steps, because I don't want the database password stored.

Looks like this is a security bug.
