error 2282 exporting report to excel format

Win 7 64 bit access 2007
When exporting a file to office 7 the acformatXLS works fine
When trying to export a file to office 10 both acformatXLS and acformatXLSX
return error 2282.
Suggestions appreciated.

possibilities:
- missing reference
- https://support.microsoft.com/en-gb/kb/934833
- you are using code that doesn't tell 64 bit version that a function is safe (see Declare statement PtrSafe, if I recall correctly)
Why not use transferspreadsheet function?

I've had success just leaving that argument blank (just nothing between the commas) and letting Access sort it out as far as the type is concerned.

Thanks for the responses, I went with the trasferSpreadSheet option.
