Equivalent to an Excel If Statement

I want to put an Unbound field on a form. I want this field to contain an "X" if another field on the same form is Null. I am trying to do a visual key to show the user where blanks are that need data.

Is there a way?

Perhaps Conditional Formatting would work better for what you are trying to do?
It is more dynamic. Otherwise, you are going to need to add VBA in a couple of different places to do what you want.
