Entering Date Criteria in a Query and Report

I am trying to enter date parameters for a weekly report I run. Every week I will be adding new data to my table but only want to be able to pull the information for the current week.

In my query, I entered criteria Between [Beggining Date] And [Ending Date] in the date field. This allows me to enter the dates I want. However, when I try to open my report (which is not using this particular query) I get an error that [Beginning Date] field is invalid. I'm assuming this is because there is no date field in the report (although I would like there to be). When I tried adding the date field to the query that my report is built on, I got the same error. Can I use more than one query in my report? If so, how?

What am I doing wrong?

What does custom number format of ;;; mean?
Three semi-colons will hide the value in the cell. Although most people use white font instead.
