Enter two values solve for third

Good Day,

I'm trying to design a timecard worksheet which will allow me to enter in two of the following pieces of information and then automatically solve for the remaining value.

Shift start
Time worked
Shift end

Anyway I could do this without a macro?

Not really, if you are entering values directly into a cell, you would be overwriting any formulae

You could do it indirectly, without VBA.

For example, let's say you input the start time, hours worked, and end time into A1, B1 and C1.

Use helper cells to calculate the required values.

For example in A2

=if(A1="",+C1-B1,A1)

and so on for B2 and C2.
