Hey Guys...

.... n gals, I was wondering if anyone could help me with this lil' problem I am having. I’m not quite sure it is even possible but here goes...

I have a membership database system in which I have a query that is used to FILTER data by the member’s postal code.

I have done all this and it works. I have added a button and attached the correct macro to it. The problem I am having is that when I click the button I get another box in which I have to enter the Data to be filtered.

This box asks for the PARAMETER VALUE. I was wondering if anybody knows whether I can change this so another form of my choice opens instead because i am trying to make the system USER FIRENDLY and if it say ENTER PARAMETER VALUE on the top, this isn’t user friendly.

If I cant use my own form then is there any way I can change the ENTER PARAMETER VALUE text at the top of the box.

Thanks a lot people!

Excel Facts

When they said...
When they said you are going to "Excel at life", they meant you "will be doing Excel your whole life".
Create a form with a textbox control and a button to run your Macro.

Take the name of your Textbox control and put it in place of the parameter criteria in the query as follows:

[Forms]![formname]![controlname]

When the button is clicked it will filter the criteria based on this value, try this also with a combo that looks up the Values in a list from an existing table it give you more flexibility.
