Hi
I have three text boxes in a form. Text box 1 & 2 hold status types. Text box three should autopopulate with the word "complete" when the text in test box 1 & 2 is "closed". I am trying to write the vb code but it is giving an error saying "you can't reference unless the control has the focus" ??
I am putting the event in the before update section.
Thanks

How to show all formulas in Excel?
Press Ctrl+` to show all formulas. Press it again to toggle back to numbers. The grave accent is often under the tilde on US keyboards.
Put the code into the After event procedure of the second text box.

If textbox1 ="Closed" and textbox2="Closed" then
textbox3 = "complete"
end if

Don't forget to trap any errors.
