Hi
In an earlier thread, Creating a Create UserForm Add In for Excel for Mac OS, someone asked about the availability of the dataform for Excel Mac.
I posted some info on a dataform add-in I’m working on.
It continues from the great work of author John Walkenbach’s enhanced data frorm from the early 2000s
I'm still looking for a few testers for this. Mainly windows, since it is a big enhancement to the built-in windows one, and I've got some good positive feedback from Mac users, but Mac is ok too!
I've since added, what I think is a really awesome auto-form called easy filter, that's simple to use but really powerful.
It's auto generated from any table and with it you can quickly create any kind of filter , using simple values, or complex expressions or even advanced formulas.
Generates autofilters or advanced filters on the fly.
To think, some folks are saying VBA is dead. This was all done in nothing but VBA.
Anyway, docs and download are at autoexcelforms.com (under development). Please DM for a download password. Would really appreciate any feedback, usage issues etc.
see the filter form video:
quick overview of the dataform itself is:
Mods. if this is posted in the wrong forum please advise.
Thanks for checking it out.
EDIT:
Just to clarify. This works with Windows OS as well as Mac OS versions of Excel.
