I have vba code that performs a Save As, creating and naming new files. The new files should not have any read/write restrictions. They should be available for anyone to open, read and make changes. What should the code say to remove read/write restrictions on the new files?

Thank you

Here are a few examples of how SaveAs Works.

VBA Save File - 20 Easy Examples - VBA Code Examples

If you are trying to save a file that is currently password protected you can use a blank password argument i.e.

Code:
Password:=""

For Write Reservation Password Argument is:
Code:
[I]WriteResPassword:=""[/I]

Here are the arguments to the SaveAs Method: Workbook.SaveAs Method (Excel)

maybe try something like this:

Code:
ActiveWorkbook.SaveAs Filename:="My Filename", Password:="", WriteResPassword:=""
