Enable Totals/Averages in Incomplete Data Set

Hi everyone,

I really hope you can help... I'll illustrate my problem below.

....A......B......C.......D
1 Mon ..Tues Weds ..Total
2 5.6% ..7% ...........#DIV/0!

I need the totals column D1 to show the average of A2 and B2 even though C2 has not yet been filled in, but instead I constantly get this #DIV/0! error message and it's driving me crazy! I've seen solutions on how to hide the error message but not how to actually make it calculate without C2!!

in whatever formula is giving you div/0 insert at start of it

=if(iserror(the formula here, "", formula here)

then you will have 5.6%, 7%, blank

easy to add the 3 = 12.6% and counta the 3 which gives 2
