I have a protected sheet for data entry but I want the user to be able to still drag and fill cells from the value in the cell above. Once I protect the sheet I seem to lose this functionality. Is there a way to use VBA to enable this functionality without removing the sheet protection? There is one column that I do not want the user messing with-EVER.

Thanks in advance.

Excel 2010.

Formula for Yesterday
Name Manager, New Name. Yesterday =TODAY()-1. OK. Then, use =YESTERDAY in any cell. Tomorrow could be =TODAY()+1.
Have you unlocked the cells that you want to drag-and-drop into ?

I'm using 2007 and I have just successfully dragged-and-dropped on a protected sheet where the cells are unlockedIf the cells are locked you cant change them
