I need a formula to identify whether an employee in a list has passed their 90 day probationary period. I want to use this formula in conjunction with condiditonal formatting, but may want to use it in other places.

The logic is: Look for the employee's hire date in column A. If today's date is less than 90 days (probationary period) from the hire date, return "X". If greater than 90 days, return " ".

You've never let me down. Gimme some help.

Perhaps something like this

=IF(TODAY()-A1>90, "", "X")

and you can use the TODAY()-A1>90 in conditional formatting.
