I am working on an employee attendance spreadsheet that is based on a point system. Point values are associated with different absence reasons and tracked on a rolling 12-month calendar. I was able to successfully complete a spreadsheet to take care of this part. However, I am unable to figure out how to automatically deduct one point after 45 days from the original occurrence. I tried using SUMIF formulas, but do not know how to make it calculate 45 days from the original occurrence and then deduct one point if its TRUE.

Can you AutoAverage in Excel?
There is a drop-down next to the AutoSum symbol. Open the drop-down to choose AVERAGE, COUNT, MAX, or MIN
Hi, welcome to the board.
Your request seems far, far too vague to allow anybody to answer it precisely.

What exactly does this mean . . .
...how to make it calculate 45 days from the original occurrence and then deduct one point if its TRUE

Can you post a small sample of your data please, showing SEVERAL DIFFERENT scenarios ?
Make up some realistic data if you don't want to post real data.
Don't bother too much about describing the real world application of your situation, that might not be too important.
Focus on clearly describing what data you have, and what exactly you want to do with it.
If you've already tried something that didn't work, tell us what that was, and in what way exactly did it not work for you.
