Hi All
I have a problem that i would like to discuss and hoepfully some of you guys can help me out with a solution.
The situation is that I am currently using OLAP cubes from a remote server (connection) to produce pivot tables, using the pivot tables from the cubes I am able to produce series of dashboards. The purpose of these dashboards are designed for external users (for KPI, overview etc). Okay, my problem is that when i send out these pivot tables/dashboards it loses the connection (as the external users wont be able to connect to the OLAP connection), hence is there any way to embed the pivot table within the file so it does not require connection from the OLAP cubes?
PS I have tried using the method of powerpivot and that doesn't seems to work either (maybe im doing something wrong?) - but this would require the user to have power pivot?
Any suggestion or help would be much appreciated
