Embedded Excel table search inside Word Doc

I need to find out if there is a way to search for a key-word within an overall Word Doc that also searches within the embedded Excel tables that are inside of that Word doc. I do not want to double-click the Excel table to search that individually. Rather, I need to be able to do a global search through the whole Word doc that ALSO INCLUDES a search of ALL Excel embedded tables within that Word doc.

Excel Facts

Formula for Yesterday
Name Manager, New Name. Yesterday =TODAY()-1. OK. Then, use =YESTERDAY in any cell. Tomorrow could be =TODAY()+1.
Hi Casey,

You can't do that with a single search. However, you could search the document, per se, with one search and then activate each embedded object in turn and search that - using the object application's own search tools.

Alternatively, if you save the fiel as a pdf, you could use the Adobe or other pdf application's search tools.

Yes, that's what I was afraid of. It means I'll need to create a completely different format for my documents since word searches are a regular part of what is needed for this. Thanks for your help.
