I am trying to find the worksheet control to embed a spreadsheet on a Userform.

I don’t see it on my vba Userform controls toolbox and can’t find it in additional controls.

I’ve been researching it and have read some mr excel posts about it.

Any guidance would be great.

Remove leading & trailing spaces
Save as CSV to remove all leading and trailing spaces. It is faster than using TRIM().
You need the Office Web Components library, which hasn't been part of Office since Office 2003.

@RoryA : The feeling is mutual. :)

bhalbach, the Activex control that you are looking (based on your comment on other MrExcel thread) for is called the Microsoft Office Spreadsheet 11.0 Activex control. It is part of Office Web components which was discontinued after Office 2003 as correctly mentioned by Rory. The MS link from where it could be downloaded is also not live anymore. If you dig deep on the web you may still find a link to download that Add-in which can then be used in latest versions of Excel. I however would not recommend using it. It may be unreliable and may result in expected results.

I successfully experimented it with Excel 2013 2 years ago when I was answering the below post but Like I said, I would not recommend using it.

It you want to just display the workbook then you may want to see this method.

Do you know if there is a 3rd party solution that would work in a Userform?
