Email Outlook 2010 not populating inbox

Since I have upgraded to 2010 and set up outlook to receive mail from my accounts at Go Daddy I see the process at the bottom indicating the system is receiving mail but nothing is appearing in my inbox!! Anyone else have this situation or have a solution? Thanks!!
