Although I've found a lot about finding overlapping pivot tables here, I haven't found a solution to my problem.
I have a sheet with several pivot tables based on a large data base. I can't separate them enough to avoid overlapping, especially as the number of both columns and rows is variable.
The problem occurs when I import new base data to an empty sheet. As I can't set any filters beforehand, all rows and columns are visible thus creating the overlapping.
When I try to set a filter in VBA either with a 'slicer item selected' property or by setting the 'visible' property of a field item I get an overlapping error as the remaining rows or columns are still visible. As, to my knowledge, there is no "deselect all" possible, I have run out of ideas.
In Excel I can manually select only the first item of the slicer without problems but in that seems to be impossible. When I record this as a macro, it doesn't run.
Any help is appreciated, as I have spent many hours on this without any success.
