Yup you get five minutes. If you go through this forum there is a reason in here. I tried to look but didn't have time to fully search.

Hello,

If the edit, after time has expired, is mission-critical, as in really important, you can report the post and provide a detailed explanation.

From there, I and a few others can go in and muck it up.

They are very understanding folks! (I speak from experiance)

Yup you get five minutes.

About last December (I think) the time to edit a post was increased to 10 minutes.

I thought those five minutes seemed long sometimes!!
I guess I had the 5 min stuck in my head and/or did not see the increase.
Too much in mind these days...
