I see that you are now limited to editing your post within 5 minutes of posting and understand that there are good resaons for doing this.

I used to go back and edit any thread I started to add the word - SOLVED after the title so that a) People browsing the fourm might want to look at this article if it sounds like something they want to learn and b) it saves anybody looking to answer questions bothering to look at the post.

Does anybody have any suggestions on how we can indictae those threads that have been solved to the satisfaction of the original enquirer? The ability to chnage the icon next to the post to one that specifically means that this post is answered would seem to be an idea.

One possible workaround, you can create a folder in your subscriptions list called "Solved" and move the solved threads in your subscriptions over there.
