Easy Question: What's the grey bar down the left of a form?

Hello. Yes, it's another relative Access newbie here with a so-easy-it-hurts question for all you Access deities out there.

What's the grey bar with the black triangle for on the left of the screen on some of my forms? Why is it only appearing on some of the forms? How can I get rid of it?

Sorry for being thicker than the offspring of a village idiot and a TV weathergirl*, anyone who can help would be more than appreciated, they would be idolised. :biggrin:

G'day mate,

It's the record selector. You can get rid of it by selecting your form, opening the properties window and changing Record Selectors to No.

Now, I think your quote is from Red Dwarf and I think it was made by Rimmer. What I can't remember is which episode or series it comes from....
