Easy formula i think

Hello,

could i please ask for some help

I have a planner with every Monday by date (01, 08,15 of January etc) displayed on row 12
This is based on (01/01/2024, 08/01/2024 etc) date in row 1 (This row is hidden)

I would like above this in each cell in row 11 showing the first 3 letters of the month (jan, Feb, Mar) but only once until February then March etc (Looks too congested otherwise)

Place this formula in cell A11:

=TEXT(A12,"mmm")

and then this formula in cell B11 and copy across:

=IF(MONTH(A12)=MONTH(B12),"",TEXT(B12,"mmm"))

The reason why you need a different formula in column A, is because column A cannot look one column to the left to see the previous date!
