Good afternoon,

Thanks for having a look at this.

I am trying to build a "team task tracker" like the below

Column B
"Employee name"

Column C
Macro button which when pressed as a row bellow "button row" The new row has same formatting but an additional macro butto is added which when pressed deletes that line.

Column D
"Project Type" Data validation drop down menu to make selection
I have datavalidaion pulled from sheet two with 6 dropdown options

Column E
"Project complexity level"
I have data validation in this field pulled from a second sheet with 6 options.

Column F

"Project start date"

Columns E-XA
Timeline

Goal - I am trying to get the timeline to auto populate. I.E person uses macro in column B to add project Row/line. selects project type (Column D) from data validation dropdown , complexity level (Column E) and start date (Column F) and then the timeline is automatically populated with the duration of the project.

Complexity level (Column E) different complexities will conditionally format in colour on the timeline
Project Type (Column D) - different projects different durations- i.e project type A = 6weeks on time line from Column F-Start date) .

Finally is there a way so the dates update automatically? or add a line showing "today" on the spread sheet.

I have been tryng to work about the best way to do it but a coming up against a brick wall.

Any help? I would be eternally grateful!
