When a dynamic range is created, initially containing a drop down list
How does one get the drop down list to appear in the new rows of data automatically?

Can Excel fill bagel flavors?
You can teach Excel a new custom list. Type the list in cells, File, Options, Advanced, Edit Custom Lists, Import, OK
Hi,

Do You by "Drop down list" mean datavalidation?

If so You can copy the cell above to the new cell, manually or via VBA.

If furhter help is needed then please provide the board with more information about the specific conditions You have.

Kind regards,
Dennis

Hi
Appreciate you taking the time

The drop down list is used to prevent users entering inappropriate information so data validation is a yes
There were other formats I wish to have copied into the new rows as they are added - some could even be conditional formating others could be the thousand seperator (,) or indeed anything else re formating
I have no objection to VBA code but would prefer not - limited skills in that area
