Dynamic print area formula only execute once in Name Manager

I made an excel sheet with a dynamic print area formula in Name Manager in workbook A and it worked. Then I merged the sheet with another workbook B, copied the formula and now the formula is only running once. It is updating the print area to current area but afterwards when I chance the content, it is not updating the print area and looking in Name Manger for print area in the current sheet the dynamic print area formula is gone and only the fixed area is left.
Is there any formatting or hidden stuff I need to enable before it will work in workbook B?

After linking to the formula in Print Area for Change Log, the formula is executed once and then return to fixed print area as shown below:

Excel Facts

Use a custom number format of #,##0,K. Each comma after the final 0 will divide the displayed number by another thousand
