Hello all.

I apologize if the subject title seems vague. I will try to put into words what I would like to accomplish, if possible.

Let's say I have one workbook called Template.xlsx. In it I have defined a range name "AccountType_Eng" (=DropDownLists!$B$4:$B$201)

I use another client workbook called Smith,E2.xlsx. In it, I am making reference to the defined name (DropDownLists)

If I modify the range in AccountType_Eng to B$4:$B$202 in my Template.xlsx workbook for example I would like that change be picked up (reflected) in the external defined name link that I have setup in the Smith,E.xlsx workbook.

I hope that I making sense. Your assistance is greatly appreciated. Peter
