Hello everyone,

I am having an issue with dynamic graphing. I have followed the tutorial here : http://blog.contextures.com/archives/2009/05/03/select-excel-chart-dates-from-a-drop-down-list/ .

However, in the last step, when changing the graph line equation using SERIES to accomodate the list of x and y values, the equation box does not accept the equation that I am supposed to enter, as per the tutorial. There is no error, and nothing happens when I hit the enter key. The box becomes grayed out.

Any suggestions?

How to calculate loan payments in Excel?
Use the PMT function: =PMT(5%/12,60,-25000) is for a $25,000 loan, 5% annual interest, 60 month loan.
What if you right-click the chart and edit series through that method. Do you still get the same result?

There is no edit series option, but I've tried the select data option. In this option, the equation line is grayed out too.
