Is there any way I can change the values in my drop down box, depending on another cells value?

Eg, I have cell M4, which will show certain attributes of an item. This cell remains pretty simple with a straightforward data validation drop down box.

For example, this may be "Team"

Depending on this value in m4, I want the options in, say, n4, to change accordingly.

And, in the same example, this may be "Player"

I assume this might be easier to do with a macro, but I'm not too knowledgeable about those!!!

Excel Facts

Select all contiguous cells
Pressing Ctrl+* (asterisk) will select the "current region" - all contiguous cells in all directions.
That answers my answer nearly perfectly.

Thanks and sorry!

One further question, if i have a range, say, called "Budgets" which is a list of budgets for different depts, but it contains blanks.

Can I change this to a list which has had the blanks taken away?
