dynamic cell and data validation

I would like to know if there is a way to automatically change a cell value according to the selection from a general validation list.
I'll try to explain it with an example: Let's say on column A I select the desired unit and in column B I write the value. What I want to do is to change automatically the value on column B if I select a different unit on column A. I can not use the Convert function because the units I'm intending to use are not included.

Hi Oscar,

I watched the video (didnt understand it fully, have to say...) and think you can follow the same idea when B1 changes.
