During External Connection refresh, show what's shown in the bottom bar in a dialog window (or something similar)

I wasn't sure which subforum was more appropriate for this question between this and the Excel one, so let's try this one:

Excel M365 latest version - when I Refresh All Connections in my file,, it takes about 5 minutes to fully refresh and pull everything in. The indicator that something is happening during this 5 minutes is on the bottom bar of the Excel window - it says "Running background query... click here to cancel." I'm going to need to make this message (or a similar message) much more apparent and visible to my users. Is there any way to display this in a dialog box/window, preferably with some kind of spinning wheel, indicating that something is happening? Even if it's not that exact message, I need to just be able to have a very obvious window up informing the user that the connection is refreshing, with a spinning wheel, that closes when the refresh is complete. No timer needed, no percentage needed, just a spinning wheel with a message that closes after refresh completion.
