duplicated rows formula

I want to highlight duplicated rows. Thanks for your help, I know the formula now but I have had hard time to interpret it.

Conditional Formatting --> Formula

=countif($A$2,$A$200,A2)>1

what exactly this formula is doing? thank you so much

It's counting how many times each cell appears in the range. Those with a count of 2 or greater will be formatted.
