Hi,

I am trying to run a query regarding the number of accounts which are duplicated. My table contains 25852 records and when I run the duplicates query wizard, I get 4181 duplicates. When I run the query manually, I only get 1895 duplicates.

I need to which accounts were duplicated and how many times each account was input, if it was input more than once.

My questions are as follows.

1. Why there is a difference between the two results?
2. Does the duplicates query wizard tell me how many accounts were duplicated twice or when an account number is present more than once?
3. Can I run a count of how many times the account was recorded (input)with the wizard tool?

Any assistnce would be greatly appreciated.

How can you turn a range sideways?
Copy the range. Select a blank cell. Right-click, Paste Special, then choose Transpose.
1. There could be a number of reasons for a difference. What do you mean by running the query manually? Can you post the SQL for both queries.

2. As far as I know it would return all accounts with >1 record.

3. Does it not already show this?
