I am doing an Excel course and come across at problem - when I insert =DSUM(A1:A59,F1,12:13) I get #VALUE! what am I doing wrong please?
 
You almost for sure shall not use whole rows as third argument of the function. Moreover in F1 you shall have either 1 or the same value as in A1 (because your first argument is one column wide.

See quite good description of this (not frequently used) function in: DSUM function

And note that as you are using Microsoft 365 the calculations can probably done using new functions like FILTER and so on.
