Excel Facts

Best way to learn Power Query?
Read M is for (Data) Monkey book by Ken Puls and Miguel Escobar. It is the complete guide to Power Query.
AFAIK, domain functions (e.g. DSum) can only go in report header, detail section or footer section and not page header so where did you put the sub report?
Also, post the expression you're using in the main report control that holds the sum.
Can also be caused by having control names the same as field names, which is what you get when you use form and report wizards. Why the wizards do this has always baffled me. Aggregate functions work with fields, not controls. If the names are the same it can cause this. If I use a wizard, I never leave the control names as they are unless I am just playing around and don't intend to keep the form/report.

When this report [DISCOLOR] is opened individually, everything is fine. But when opening it in main report [GENERAL] which has it as sub report it gives error. I have not linked this report (DISCOLOR) to any control main report (GENERAL).
I tried several ways to make it but couldn't find a solution. However, it is definitely my fault. But can't find it
