I'm ready to take that great leap in to the 90's and upgrade to High Speed Internet connectionat home (and who knows, maybe even a wireless network).
The questions is Cable or DSL? Since I've only ever used dial-up at home I have no idea if I should go DSL or Cable.
Anyone have experience with both that could give a guy a nudge?

This site ROCKS! and I always am amazed at how much youse guys know and how kind you are to share. Thanks for all you do!

Broadband Cable. Speeds are faster (2 - 3 MGs vs 650 KB for DSL) and the speed you get with DSL depends on how close you are to the telephone switching station. After 10,000 feet it gets iffy, after 14,000 forget it. Broadband is faster, better, not as fluctuant, and doesn't kick you off line unexpectedly like DSL can. Also, the cable carriers (Comcast especially) are getting money from venture capitalists who understand that broadband is better and that the cable tv offerings can be expanded to increase market share. Spend the up-front $80 for a cable modem and go with the speed and reliability of broadband cable if you have that choice.
