I am trying to find the correct formula for C2 to pull the corresponding payment amount based on the dropdown selected. For example, if "Troubadour" is selected, a corresponding "$100.00" shows up in D2.

Excel Facts

What do {} around a formula in the formula bar mean?
{Formula} means the formula was entered using Ctrl+Shift+Enter signifying an old-style array formula.
Welcome to Mr. Excel

You have a better chance of getting a reply if you show data sample(s) w/expected results and where they come from AND you use XL2BB.
For example, why would Troubadour result in 100? Where does that come from? What about the other options?

Hello, 100 represents the amount paid.

Troubadour - 100
Inner Circle - 100
Sound Engineer - 50
Video Editor - 30

I would like it to pull the corresponding payment amount in the column next to it the name.
