Drop down yes no option

I have a form that I want people to be able to choose yes or no for one of the fields. I chose the yes/no format, but it doesn't show up as a drop down choice, just the default yes or no and then if you don't want the default you have to type yes or no. Can you tell me how to do this?

Here's how to set it up in the table, so any forms using it default to that kind of control:

1. Open the table where the field is stored, in Design view.
2. Select the field from the list of names. Down below, in the Properties, click on the Lookup tab. There you can select from Textbox (possibly what it is now), Combo (drop-down) or Checkbox. Pick Combo if you want the drop-down list, or Checkbox (my preference for Yes/No). Save the table and close it.
3. Back to the form -- In Design view, delete the offending control, save the form, and then use the Field List to add it back. You should now have either a drop-down or a checkbox, reflecting your choice in the table design.

I couldn't get the drop down to work yet (only yes showed up), but I agree with you that the check box is a nicer alternative. The user can just check the box if the answer is yes or leave unchecked if no. Works great!
