Drop Down Menus

Hi everyone,

My boss wants me to make an order form in Excel. I have the drop-down menus all in place, but one of the menus has a selection that must default another menu to a specific selection.

E.G: We offer wood furniture and one of the stain colours is only available in cedar, so if a customer chooses the Caramel stain, the wood menu must default to cedar. Is there a way to do this, and if so, what formula or rule would I use?

Thank you in advance!

Allison,
Welcome to the Forum.

From what you have described it sounds like you need 'Dependent Drop-down Lists'.
I Googled that and several links came up. Below are a few of those links that will show you how to create dependent drop down lists.

Sorry. I should have asked before. In which rows or cells are the two drop down menus and I need the column letter as well
