Given that I have the mileage between motorway services, I want to be able to enter the names of any two of the services to calculate the distance between them. It must be simple but it's got me baffled.
 

Excel Facts

Add Bullets to Range
Select range. Press Ctrl+1. On Number tab, choose Custom. Type Alt+7 then space then @ sign (using 7 on numeric keypad)
if you have the eastings and northings for each site, then a simple lookup can be built to do a straight line calculation, it get less accurate the further apart they are due to road laytouts
