Hi,

Does anyone know a short cut to the following -

I have a formula that references a cell on another tab I want to quickly copy this, but the tab im copying from goes along columns and on the main tab it goes rows. Is there a quick way of dragging like when you normally do it?

For example, tab 2 I want to reference column A B C D E F G using a formula into rows 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 but without having to change each formula manually.

Thanks,

You can teach Excel a new custom list. Type the list in cells, File, Options, Advanced, Edit Custom Lists, Import, OK
This will reference tab 2, A1 B1 C1, with formula you put in Tab 1 A1 and drag down.

=INDEX('Tab 2'!$1:$1,ROWS(A$1:A1))
