Hello

I have a large data set across 72+ columns. I want to summarize the data in another sheet and I only want to show the data from every 8th column. When I drag the formula across how do I get it to increase the refence cell by 8 instead of one

Ex in my summary table:
A1 = OtherSheet!A1
B1 = OtherSheet1I1
C1 = OtherSheet1Q1
D1 = OtherSheet1Y1

I hope that makes sense

Thanks
-Marc

Excel Facts

Move date out one month or year
Use =EDATE(A2,1) for one month later. Use EDATE(A2,12) for one year later.
How about in A1 only
Excel Formula:
=CHOOSECOLS(Sheet1!A1:BU1,SEQUENCE(10,,,8))

Thanks for the reply. Unfortunately it won't work if they are all in cell A1 because I need to do calculation in subsequent rows with each individual number.

They won't all be in A1, it will spill across.
