I've made a workbook in Excel (obviously) on my Mac, saved as a xls document and emailed it as an attachment.

When it is opened on a windows pc (Excel 2007) it isn't displaying or functioning correctly even with macros enabled. For example I have in cell drop-down menus which aren't functioning and a text box isn't displaying the text but what I'm assuming is code?

Any advice would be brilliant as I'm tearing my hair out about it!

Apologies in advance if I'm posting in the wrong forum but I wasn't sure which was most appropriate

Excel Facts

Copy a format multiple times
Select a formatted range. Double-click the Format Painter (left side of Home tab). You can paste formatting multiple times. Esc to stop
sometimes XL will delete the code for virus protection. Is the code there?

sometimes XL will disable macros. did you check to see if macros are enabled?
File, options, trust center, trust center settings, macro settings, ENABLE ALL MACROS

sometimes the email will remove the xl data for virus protection.
